FIrst Bow: PSE Carera- a hand me down... it shot FAST but was a totally incorect size. I took a deer with it though. My one bow kill.
Second Bow: Mathews SQ2- also a hand me down. I never really got comfortable with it.

New Bow: 2012 Mathews HeliM- the best Christmas gift ever from my wife.

Mine worked well for me last year.

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000. The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.

That's a great mount and a cool photo. How far from the wall does that sit?

Thanks! 49" to the nose, 51" to the farthest out part of the brow tines. The taxi had to peel the hide and cut the form and add 2x4's to allow the horns to clear the wall. Good thing he was paying attention to that while it was on the stand.

I shoot a HuntMaster Advantage from the 1990's. I used to shoot a custom recurve but an unhealed elbow injury ruined my "regular" bow shooting. Crossbow is fast & accurate but on the heavy side.

    Default Oneida Aeroforce X80

I'm half surprised, but not really, that I'm only the third to list an Oneida. Guess they're not that popular. Was given this bow this year and love hunting with it. I can shoot as straight as I need to, but don't have a frame of reference to what better would be.

Just bought first bow. I wanted something nice, but not to expensive. I decided on the Hoyt Rampage XT. So far I am very happy with it.

TRA I don't know how low you can set it. My bow was set at around 55# when I got it, but have since bumped it up just a touch. The thing the local shop said is that they only see used ones come in, as for alot less money you can get a new bow set up and ready to go that will shoot about the same. However the people that do shoot them tend to love them and use the hell out of them. So like you said in good condition may be hard to find. I did see a few on bay area CL a few weeks back. There is tons of easy adjustment pieces which are relatively inexpensive once you find them to set the bow to your length and let-off yourself

Just picked up a Red head Kryptik. Always been a bowtech/diamond fan and its made by diamond. It was a 2008 model that was $599. They had a few left and cleared them out for $199! I figured for that price what the heck. Well let me tell you it will be my hunting bow this season . Im very impressed at how smooth the draw is and how quite it is.
You cant hit it if you dont shoot at it
