I didn't feel it and I'm only 8 miles away. But I was sitting in the HS gym, on the basketball court.

This is for the earthquakes LINK .. I dont think i posted much on the shoot out.. but i did on the 15 accident.. I got that info off of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Goto the Traffic Incidents and there to the far left ( in the blue area ) should be a drop down menu.. When your first get there i believe your on LA.. just click.. and choose your area.. I use it all the time.. when i hear sirens or see the freeway messed up.. or to see if my calls made it on .. Hope this helpsOriginally posted by clutchkiller@Feb 7 2004, 05:10 PM

Just curious...do the floors in your homes stay level after all these earthquakes? Or, does everything eventually get a little warped over the years?
Thank you for reading my post!

Nothing stays true and level. All of the houses "settle"; especially the ones that are a slab foundation on a "cut and fill" site.
I played a joke on the office staff last week. The office is constructed with "floating" floors (earthquake resistant) and if you sit in between columns, you can feel the floor shake. I happened to walk heavily into my cubicle, and one of the staff mentioned that they thought there had been a tremblor. So, I decided to enact a few after-shocks.
"There it is. Did you feel that? There it is again. Is it an earthquake?"
I couldn't keep from laughing.
