Jump Shooting off the 15 near San Luis Rey River

I fished over the weekend with someone who mentioned there is some good jump shooting off the 15 before Escondido. ###He said there is a bridge that crosses over the San Luis Rey River, and that near there there are some old gravel pits that hold water and are good spots for jump shooting ducks. ###Anyone know anything?

I've never heard of it. ###Did he say who owned the land? ###Is it public?

Didn't say................but he said there was public access. ###I was thinking of scouting down there. ###I'll post if I find anything.
