I have a green wing teal still in my freezer from last year's hunt. Boy, I know I am a procrastinator, but would still like to get it mounted. Am I going to catch alot of flack from a taxidermist if I take it in this year?? It was taken legally and accounted for last year at Wister (if that helps any????).

Also, if you guys have any interesting poses of ducks, either in the air or other, could you post a few. I am always intersted at looking at others to get an idea (no, not copy) of what to start out with and then elaborate from there.

Thanks to all, and to all a good night! :big grin santa hat:

If it was wrapped up good and did not get freezer burned you should not have a problem with it. If it is freezer burned it can still be worked with but will just take the taxidermist a little more time because he will have to work very delicately with the burned areas.

My favorite mount for birds are flying. For waterfowl I like the landing pose. I do not have any duck mounts (yet) but here is one of my Goose mounts in that pose. :big grin santa hat: :big grin santa hat: :big grin santa hat:

That's a nice one. I have a spoonie that looks similar to that, it scares the hell out of my wife everytime she does the laundry. Thanks for the info as well.
