I have a chance to purchase a 12guage over under Verona shotgun for around $300. I don't have the model number but was wondering aobut the quality of these shotguns in comparison to perhaps a Ruger or a Browning or an Ithiaca. Any input is apprieciated.

The basic Verona 12 Ga. O/u starts at about $800.00 new. (I believe it is the LX 501 model.) Verona is an Italian designed/made shotgun imported by BC Outdoors. The factory is in the same Bresca Valley in Italy where Beretta is made. BC Outdoors is owned by PMC Ammo, so parts and customer support is not an issue. For $300.00 you can't go wrong. Turners carries some of the Verona line.

I have the SX 405 12 ga. auotoloader and for the price I am happy with it. Look at BC Outdoors on the internet for more info..............my 2 cents.
