'Nuttin yet but the hunting fever is kicking in big time . A buddy took me down to Assateague for Sikas for the first time Oct.1-3 and saw a biggun but you can't take whitetails there. I'm sitting under a pine tree in the wide open next to the swamp and I see this guy off a little ways. He circles through the swamp and comes 20 yds from me broadside. Stops, looks at me and keeps nibbling and walking. My brain just fried because I thought I was daydreaming. Shorten the brow tines on yours and he was everything of that and more. I'll give the muzzleloader a go again this weekend but really waiting for the first two week in Nov. (Didn't get any Sikas either but had a lot of fun - horses walking down the trail 5 feet from me and hearing the ocean in the background was a neat experience)
