I checked out the 'COMPASSECO' web site and they have a 'special' on TECH FORCE air guns. Anyone know anything about them? They appear to be pretty reasonably priced. Check out their description of it:
Tech Force 99 Magnum Air Rifle .177 cal (1100 fps)
***Special Was $178.95 Now $155.95 Save $23.00***(RIFLE ONLY)***RIFLE WITH 27X32AR SCOPE WAS $229.90 NOW $206.91 SAVE $22.99***RIFLE WITH 312X44AR SCOPE WAS $249.90 NOW $224.91 SAVE $24.99****This unique air gun has the power and accuracy to compete with serious, world class air guns, yet its modest price makes it a perfect choice for virtually all shooters. For field accuracy competitors, small game hunters or backyard plinkers, the Model 99'' performance is truly amazing. Because it's capable of achieving muzzle velocities of 1100 fps and muzzle energy of 18.5 FP, it packs a real punch, even at long range. The accuracy surpasses many of the popular European air rifles (C-T-C 0.13) that sell for two to three times the price. The Tech Force 99 features a spring piston power plant with a piston spring by Jim MacCari, considered the best spring maker in the U.S. The fixed barrel design has an underlever cocking mechanism with an anti-beartrap lock and automatic safety. The Tech Force 99 has an insert type front sight, which is removable, when the rifle is used with a scope. The TF99 comes standard with scope grooves, scope stop, front and rear sights, rifled barrel, and a nicely finished hardwood stock.

I think the Tach Force 25 is they're best rifle. In .22 of corse!!!
I have a coupple buddies that have them, and they like them.
they're accurat, and they do have power.
They're definitly not as refine as a Webely, BSA, or Air Arms.....
The stalks aren't the greatest. And they have some rough edges!
But you're right. You can't beat the price.
I'm just not comfortable with a gun that comes with spair parts!
(like springs!)
I think you'd have a good time with it. But just don't expect it to give
you the years of sevice a good, name brand gun will give.

I Love It!!!
Tech Force Air offer a variety of air rifles at different level of use. It offer clones of the RWS48/54, Clone of the Beeman R9 and it own Tf99-97s under cocker and side lever clocker TF88-41 to its bread and butter Gamo knocks off B18-19s. It also offer some pretty decent $35-$45 rifles like the B36, B7, fast deer and others that a person can use to hunt small pest or prey without busting your bank or having lie to your wife.
I own a tech force 2522 it is a decent rifle, it would be a really nice rifle with a tune, it quite powerful and accurate capable of 75 yard breaks on 4" clay targets. But its not a B20/R9/RWs320 or B21/Rws48 nor is it the best rifle Tech Force makes but it is probably in the Top 10.
My 2 cent.
You may wont to start a new post.
