I've been a JHP'er for a long time now and all of a sudden I have to "log in" every time now. I have not deleted any cookies (that I'm aware of) and I have not set my security to a higher setting. This just started on Thursday 9-4-03. Any suggestions or comments?
Edit: I just noticed that the "mark all posts as read" and the "delete all cookies" pick boxes are very close together at the bottom of the opening page of the forums here. I always use the "mark all posts as read" just before I leave JHP each time. Maybe I mistakenly clicked on the pick bow to remove the cookies. But it seems that I should have added a new cookie the next time I logged on. Whatcha think?
I am having the same problem this morning.
Even have to re-log in when moving within the webpage.
Thought it was me.
Same here. The system must need a tweak. WB
Same here.
I think I fixed mine.
I deleted all JHP cookies. I deleted all shortcuts and links to the JHP forum. I deleted all JHP stuff from my "favorites".
Then I went to JHP like it was my first time ever then logged in as Bald Eagle with my password and made sure the "remember my user-name and password" was activated.
I exited JHP. And checked my cookies again and sure enough there was a new JHP one there.
Now when I go to JHP it remembers who I am.
That's even better than me - sometimes I don't even know who I am.
JHP no longer exists. We're JHO now.
