Has anybody tried the bowflex? I'v used free weights for years, but I just don't have enough room for everything I need. The bowflex seems to cover it all in a compact package. Is it worth the price?

I have not tried the Bowflex but have tried the Crossbow system at a friend's house. Very similar but a bit cheaper. Seems to work good , very smooth action and the thing will fold up for storage.
I have one. It is a great machine even though it is pricey.
You might want to consider purchasing the extra weight for leg presses though.
I have had mine about eight years and never had a problem.
Nothin but positive with the bowflex.... I have worked out on that since just out of high school and gained serious muscle... great machine.
i have both the bowflex and the crossbow i actully like the cross bow better it seems to be easyer to change the weight without getting up and hooking the pole thru with the hook system on the bow flex but they both work you out very well and you can see and feel a differance in the 6 week chalange![]()
We have one here at the fire station. It's pretty good, but I still prefer free weights. One word of caution though, the commercial is complete BS!!! If you work out 3 days a week for 20 minutes you will not look like the guy in the commercial!!![]()
