Now I feel like a man! I just picked up a Super Redhawk 44Mag and a Taurus Raging Bull 454 Casull.

Plan to use them both for deer this season.

any advice out there for me???

Hang on tight. Congrats on the new ones.

    Have fun with those.

Hey, my kind of guy. I've got a .454 and 2 .44 mags. Just love the big bores.
Got to shoot the new S&W .500 mag. last weekend at the Raahauge's shooting fair. Much lighter recoil than I expected, but the gun weights 73 ounces. The new titanium 329 .44 mag had much more recoil than the .500 , but it only weights 26 ounces.

jim, Don't even waste your time that redhawk is junk. But since I'm such a nice person I will take it off you hands and I won't even charge you for my hasle. As for the 454 not sure I will take it form you. Aftr you shot it there is going to be some damage to the gun from you droping it.

I shot a 454 raging bull. I expected worse not that bad, really. I believe they are ported from the factory.

If it is ported, and youre going to hunt with it make sure you take some ear protection hunting. I have a 44mag Raging Bull. Its ported and after shooting it, while hunting my ears hurt for three days . But its a heck of a good shooter.
