    paulc,

The movie you are thinking of is Unforgiven.
Malo periculosam libertatem quam quietam servitutem.

"No freeman shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -Jefferson, 1776

"They that...give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither..." -Franklin, 1759

    Houndhunting...America's ORIGINAL pasttime.

I must have horrible taste in westerns!!

Posse was pretty bad. I liked the line that was something about sitting in your car and someone claiming it was theirs because they found it.
I also liked the gold bullet thought.

What about Blazing Saddles??? No wait, that's a classic!! my bad.
There is a wolf in me....fangs pointed for tearing gashes ...a red tongue for raw meat....and the hot lapping of blood--I keep this wolf because the wilderness gave it to me and the wilderness will not let it go.

A good thread would be "Best Westerns" - no puns on motels allowed! Blazing Saddles would have to be right up there near the top. I love it when he cold cocks the horse!

It's a toss-up between The Quick and the Dead and Posse....they both sucked out loud.
Don't you remember Honey? I told you I was going hunting/fishing/shooting/golfing/something!

I can't say that I remember much about seeing "Posse" as I slept through most of it.
