June Big Pig Contest

just wondering if anyone is going to tejon ranch for the archery only big pig contest. this will be the last weekend in june and it is a team event for the heaviest two hogs. it should be a blast with great raffle prizes and a bbq on saturday night. remember this one is archery only.

this hunt is the same as the por. it's $300 per hunter. the grand prize is $500 for the total weight of your and your partner's pig. of course is you just want to go shoot a pig you don't need a partner. there is a bbq on saturday night. sunday at noon they usually do the raffles. they raffle off bows, arrows, and all sorts of other things. this year he's supposed to offer a 4-wheel atv. the contexst starts at 5am friday and ends at sunset on sunday. i think the bbq is $10.00 and the raffle tickets vary. i think the atv is supposed to be $100 per ticket. the guy running it is don smith. he's the owner of back country outfitters west and archery sports in simi valley. give him a call at 805.577.0335. hope to see you there. marc
