ODFW Stocks Lakes for Spring Break Fishing
ROSEBURG — Lakes and reservoirs around southern Oregon will be brimming with trout in time for spring break fishing. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is stocking the lakes with legal-sized trout.
The following water bodies will be stocked the week of March 24 unless otherwise noted:
Douglas County: Ben Irving, Cooper Creek, Galesville and Plat I reservoirs and Loon Lake.
Coos and Curry counties: Bradley, Upper and Lower Empire lakes in Coos County will be stocked with lunker trout. Garrison Lake in Curry County will be stocked the week of March 31.
Jackson and Josephine counties: The All Sports Pond, Expo Ponds, and Emigrant, Selmac, Willow, and Lost Creek lakes will be stocked the week of Mar. 16.
