Safari Club hosting fundraiser banquet

The Northern Arizona Chapter of Safari Club International will host a fundraiser banquet March 8 at the Flagstaff Elks Lodge.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to generate revenue to support worldwide Safari Club International wildlife conservation and education programs. In addition SCI provides humanitarian aid to developing nations and serves an advocacy group for hunters throughout the world.
Locally, 25 percent of all revenue generated will be donated to the Flagstaff Unified School District Project Life (Camp Colton) Program. Additionally the Northern Arizona Chapter of SCI provides scholarships to local teachers to attend a week-long accredited environmental and outdoor education workshop in the Gros Ventre Mountains of Wyoming.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a social hour. Dinner, your choice of salmon or prime rib, will be served at 6. Dinner will be followed by drawings for door prizes, raffles and auctions.
Tickets are $35 for singles, $60 for couples, and $18 for children under 16. Call Steve Favor at 526- 0456 for tickets.
