Default finally, my PEEP is perfect!!

the man that installed my strings...purposely left my peep aiming off to one side..he said, "that way when it stretches..it will turn around perfectly".."trust me"

well..it never moved. just stayed there.

my accuracy would be sometimes inconsistent, because i was peeking thru an "elipse" and trying to align it perfectly with my round sight ring..today, i had enough..i studied, and took out my press..i measured my A2A and found my bow 1/8th long!!

wow...i put one twist in the cable..untwisted one end of the string, and twisted the other end of the string..POW! perfect! A2A came back in line too...timing never moved. crazy.

if i had a real bench top bow press (asking for one for Christmas..if you see my wife..tell her please) i would be dangerous..hahahha.

At least you know what was wrong. I have been using to small of a peep for the last year and a half. it was only after found to the local bow shop to tune my bow that I found out I was suppose to see my whole pin sight not just the one i'm using.
I was close to giving up all together.

thanks friend!! driving back to gilroy is much to far to let a GOOD tech mess with my bow..mike was the the only one that i thought was good at a bowpress. best i learn at least the easy stuff to DIY.

i still need to get back there to buy an ELITE bow..later.

thats why you get it right from the start LOL not sure where you guys get strings that have such problems but i know it happens, sucks for sure but if i have a bad string you can tell while building and if so I just build another, dont let a string go out thats rotating like crazy. i guess some dont care about their product as much as others. LOL oh well thats on them

world's best strings..out of Canada. second set. first set was destroyed by a bowtech that didnt manage slack and let the bowpress go. cam tore the string.

ive had that happen before also LOL but not ina press, bent cam on bow i just bought and then WHAM derailed right after i built and put strings on and my hand bleeding pretty good to LOL started over HAHA

If your getting any quality string dont be afraid of it moving on ya, set it up and with a few shots to let it settle and go from there, align peep and go with it, they shouldnt move if their stretched while built.

    good luck hunting....
