It is serious and everyone SHOULD be on board against it.

Not because it applies to "assault rifles" or "hunting rifles" but because it is a scheme to ban guns by banning how they look.

Banning the bullet button will do NOTHING to stop people from having AR's. Someone will invent a "twist lock" button that requires a screwdriver to use and that will get around the bullet button ban. If they ban SCREWS then NO RIFLE would be legal. Not yours. Not mine. NO ONE's!

And before you say "that's ridiculous" think about this: Do you really believe that anti-gun fanatics wouldn't do that if they're willing to ban some rifles merely because of the way the rifle LOOKS? Afterall, an AR functions exactly like a Remington model 750 semi-auto hunting rifle. It has the same uses, versatility, and sporting factors as any modern semi-auto hunting rifle. And, it's owned by the SAME TYPE OF FOLKS who own hunting rifles like you and me. It just looks different. Scary. So they want to get rid of them.

As if banning them in Ca will make them go away in the rest of the world.
Well, there was a bump, a thump, a cloud of dust, and the smell of turnips wafting through the air...
