For those who haven't heard, Fish & Game Commissioner Dan Richards was replaced at the commission meeting on 08 August 2012. He has been replaced by Mr. Kellogg who is no particular friend of hunters, fishermen or gun owners. Mr. Kellogg was a choice of HSUS among others, to replace Commissioner Dan Richards. Mr. Kellogg will have a confirm hearing later this year or early next year but he will be confirmed as it looks now. If you value your hunting and fishing in California you need to express your displeasure with this situation to Governor Jerry Brown, the Fish and Game Commission and your elected representative. Also, when the elections come around you need to vote your sport and get rid of these people who make it possible for HSUS to operate within the Department of Fish and Game and for the Fish and Game Commission to operate in manner in which they do. Remember, the Governor and your elected representatives are the ones who allow this activity to happen.
