Yea it is a Barnes. I really wish it would expand like its suppose to. My rifle really likes that round.

Both Barnes bullets I used to get my last two bucks expanded very well. One shot per buck and both bullets retrieved looked like mushrooms.

Just got back from Catalina, unfortunately not hunting, but got to admire a lot of deer. I couldn't wait to get home and check out all the A Zoners stories and pics. Great job to all of you. Seems how I'm not planning on doing A Zone this yr., I will have to live vicariously through you guys (and gals). Good luck to those of you who didn't fill your tags this weekend.

I've never had a problem with a Barnes bullet. Your dice roll came up bad is all. Sometimes any bullet you use is not going to behave like it's supposed to. Your buck's on the ground; that's what counts!
