Default My new English Pointer, Monty

If you followed my story about Calvin, my English Pointer, who died in March, this will let you know that I broke down and got a new puppy. I've only had him a week. Today, my hunting buddy, Sammy, came over, and we got Monty to point for quite a while. Check out the video. He'll be working in the field very soon!

Cute pup, great prey drive. Bet you're going to be having loads of fun this season.

Best of luck to you and Monty! May you have a long partnership.

Congrats on your new partner. I'm looking forward to seeing the progression. Glad to see you stay with the breed.

Looks good Rich. You will be hunting them birds up pretty bad this year. Enjoy.
Summer had reduced the river's flow to a sluggish current. It was well within the banks carved by spring melts, the shallow water running crystal clear. But it was water- life-giving, life-sustaining water. This Calder Range by Janet Dailye
