Can my GSP digest a whole fledgling dove?
I was working in my back yard when I heard a commotion and I saw my GSP with a fledgling dove in his mouth (we have a lot of them here). Before i could get to him, he scrunched it up in his mouth for a bit and just ate the whole thing -- feathers and all!!
Can he digest it without problems?

Yes lol. It will.be a long dump in the morning.
he will be fine. My lab has eaten whole gophers.... Usually I get them away from him in time but unfortunately I cant stop him while Im at work
He's a hunting dog, he'll be fine. The GSP I was raised with ate a fireplace broom when she was little so yours should be able to eat a dove fledgling.
