I’ve seen tequila with a worm in it but this was a “first”. I am having lunch with a member of the Nat. Wild Turkey Federation (pumping him for turkey spots of course) at a Vietnamese restaurant. We see this “jar” and are intrigued by the sign.Snake drink.jpg

We look closer and it is full of “pickled” snakes. Here is a close up. Now we figured out why it wasn’t for sale to the public. We really wanted to taste it so the owner let us have a taste for free on our own responsibilty. It did NOT taste like chicken. Tasted like sherry with a bit of snake? – hopefully not a poisonous one.

They have a alcohol made from the habu snake in Okinawa Japan. Its Habu Sake. And it has snakes in the bottom as well.
It supposed to be a source of natural viagra......
