Can you post some up close pictures of your work. (Several) I have many Euro Hog Skulls (Love them) I did myself, and would like to see what your work is in detail.

Nice work, I've always been interested in that style of art/taxidermy.

Hahahahaha...you tell him fling! Very unique art for sure, I've never seen anything like it. I am waiting for my hog euro now and will decide after I see it. Yours are cool...I like it!

Did u pull the tusks out or are they the actual size? The third pic clearly shows where where the tusk grinded at the top inch.

WB, thanks! Its not what I do for a living and I'm not hussle work....its just something I do in spare time and it works out good on trades and such. So far people like them. And to answer bmtoth....... if you were a plastic surgeon, would you point at a boob job and say...."those aren't real.....I added 4 sizes" or just be glad the customer got exactly what they asked for.....

Some of us are learning to ignore bm now that we know what bm is short for. horse%20apples.gif

Even I think its awesome, and i don't understand why people want dead animals hanging around their house in the first place. I might put one of those up though?

Without disclosing the secrets of your trade can you tell us a what the process is and the cost? Do you have pics of other animals?

Henmar, thanks. Well.....its lengthy and more labor than anything. I take the fresh head, strip all skin, meat, tallow ect. Then its off to the maceration tank for two weeks or three if needed. During this time I put the plaque together. Camo, stain or solid finish...faux antique leather to crackled porcleon...you name it. The skull then gets cleaned and bleached with a peroxide/borax simmer. All teeth removed and whitened again. Once completely free of oils ect. The skull gets two applications of a two part finish, copper, bronze, pewter ect. Or just left white. Install teeth. Once dry...three coats of clear on skull and plaque. Mount skull to plaque and serve at room temp! The skull above is mounted to a camo plaque and the feathers are inlayed, wich came from a spot where the owner and I first saw his hog. Thought saving them for his mount would be nice touch. I have pics I will post for you of others. I usually ask for trades ect. Pm me for any other info as I'm not a biz or sponser
