    Default Homemade rifle.sling

Made this last night out of 550 cord. It amazes me how many uses there is for 550 cord. IMG141-3.jpg

Looks nice! 1,000,001 uses for 550 cord. I made a wrist strap for my box last year and absolutely love it. How long did it take you to weave that? Which weave pattern did you use?

Not sure about the pattern kinds did it with a little instruction but mostly by what I would think would work. It took about 80-100 feet and about 1 hour.

Can you post the instructions? Did you get it off a website? Looks fantastic!

This is the website I started to use. I used the same pattern but made the s loops tighter, and closer together. Hope this helps I am making a couple more for some people so I can take picture on the progress and how I did it and will post more pics.

That's all cool stuff, but for practical use, "The Claw" from Quake industries is hard to beat. It absolutely refuses to slip off the shoulder. Good when climbing those 60 deg. slopes.
