Default Game Wardens Kill Mountain Lion in Sunland Neighborhood, Cougar, Puma

"We need these animals, if we don't have mountain lions in our local areas, we're going to have too many rabbits, too many deer, too many coyotes," said neighbor Dana Stangel. "It upsets me greatly."
Too many dogs and cats too.

That warden is a hero in my book!

No deer = no hunters = no guns. Simple solution for the simple minded.

Jeez, some (most) of the comments have no clue.I

Yeah, it's pretty majestic when photographed on a crag by some long lensed Ansel Adams type guy.

    But...

It's a predator. It kills to survive. It also doesn't care very much what it kills just so long as it can eat. If you let it live in your neighborhood it WILL kill your livestock, pets, and people.

And, to the dumbass who commented that he hikes on trails in mtn lion country and has no fear that the lion will attack him because it will only attack weaker prey...Uhh, just WHAT do you think YOU are? Some people are so stupid...

Can't the lions find children instead of our deer? They are cute and cuddly, right?

If we don't have mountain lions, we will have too many Dana Stangel. I strongly agree on this one.

Wow...most of those comments are pure stupid.

I think we found the "weaker prey" in Sunland.
