Sorry to hear of the loss of a great fisherman and adventurer, Jose Wejebe (Spanish Fly Host- Outdoor Channel) who lost his life last week in a solo plane crash.
Saw Jose as a friend and fellow adventurer. I thoroughly enjoyed his humble demeanor and the respect he had for nature and all people around him. I was amazed by his ability to throw a cast net. After watching him I would try to throw mine in the back yard pool and am still terrible at it. He didn't just catch bait with that net. He caught me every time I turned the channel and found his show. He'll continue to cast that net from a higher place and we're all hoping we all get caught. Thank you Jose, my sympathy to your family and all of those that feel they have lost a friend.
