    Hey everyone! If anyone has any X5a info (good OR bad) they wouldn't mind sharing... please shoot me a PM! Trying to do a little pre-appy research, and I'm considering this unit for an archery tag. Thanks!

    Ive hunted just about every CA zone, BUT Ive never hunted 5a, sorry.

    One thing I do know is, you really have a nack for killing huge bucks. If you draw the tag, which im assuming you will, please post up some pics.

    Haha, thanks. I'm just in a bit of a pinch due to the time of the hunt. Opens Aug 18, and school starts on Aug. 21st. It will be a short trip if I go for it, but that's where scouting comes in I guess. As long as I can find a few good ones in velvet, I think I can pull something out on limited time. Decisions, decisions!
