Default A&E is launching a series profiling the Duck Commander boys starting Wed night

"Duck Dynasty" is debuting this Wednessday night on the###A&E cable network. I've read a couple of good reviews today on the show that follows the Duck Commander boys from Louisiana. ###Hopefully it's worthy.###

You can see the entire 1st show here...

Ah, I'm thinking this might not be so good. Shooting golf balls and especially flooding the loading dock to make a "test pond". The general non-hunting public will likely think of this as another ignorant rednecks with guns show.

Chances are pretty good it will not involve them shooting any ducks on camera.

Watched the first show online last night. They are entertaining

The old show on Sportsman channel had the shooting for sure. This one looks more like the business side of things.

Definitely Will be watching the shows going forward

Caught some of it on Hulu. I think I'll be watching. “If you’re too busy to duck hunt or catch fish, you’re too busy.” I agree.

I stand corrected. They dropped a duck and showed a very brief retrieve on the last show. All in all I think the show is a little silly, but I really really enjoy how Phil instills and insists on some serious family values. The way they end each show with the family at the dinner table is very inspiring. My family has dinner at the table 3-4 nights a week, as that is all we are all together for at dinner time. I loved how he took his grandsons cell phone and pitched it before they set about the hard days work.

I hope it stays that way. I also think that the ratio of gators to cameramen in LA is about 1:1 with all the shows being filmed there. I do catch myself watching all of them, something about that patois.

Watched 2 shows, the one where they are grab azzing in the warehouse and the one where Chase is having some kids clean the yard. I thought there'd be a little duck hunting or in the swamp/marsh something but it just appears to be yet another series of trying to make someone's daily life interesting. The choot the alligator guy is way more entertaining.

I really enjoyed Uncle Phil's career day presentation at his grandson's school.

This is BY FAR the most entertaining show on TV right now in my humble opinion. The classroom career day reminds me of my first day in high school. Every year the science teacher would ask if anyone knew how to skin a muskrat, then proceed to pull out a dead muskrat and show the class how to skin it. By high school I had probably skinned 1000 muskrat on my grandfather's farm. The teacher was pretty deflated when I ruined his punchline by getting up in front of the class and had the pelt off that carcass in under a minute. It was supposed to take up the whole 50 minutes of his first class to get the deal done.
Did you see the expressions on those kids faces when he was pulling the gizzard out of that wood duck? That was priceless!!

Felt like I was watching my family in action! Haven't missed a show yet. It is quite entertaining and simple minded (just how life should be)
