I know it appears that Dan would be removed, but do you think the commission would actually do it? After the turn out at that meeting they have to know the heat they would take. Maybe they just want control and not to let the next guy do it or who ever Jerry brown decides to appoint next. The fact that Richards voted no is scary but who knows what will happen. Guess they can decide to oust any President at any meeting after this? Who is up next? Sure it is not a misunderstanding by this paper? All the media I have seen has been a piss poor representation of what things really were.

We know there's only one reason why they would change the rules on how the commission selects their president at a time like this. The rest of the commission is playing the political game. We have already seen the Dem's backing down on pushing the vote in Sacramento to remove Mr. Richards from the commission, which is what we want because it was the threat at the time. The commission will remove him as president, but he will remain on the commission through the rest of the year. The commission figures the supporters won't be too disappointed because Mr. Richards will be staying on the commission, yet to calm the activists the removal of Mr. Richards as president will show that he was disciplined for what he did. They obviously want to end the current problem, yet keep the support of everyone they can, including the animal rights groups. If this actually plays out, then we'll know who the commission really values more and it's not us. This is just my opinion, I could be wrong..........

If our forefathers would be brought back to life for a day I'm pretty sure they'd put a musket ball thru the heads of every on of those liberal f***s. I think it's time for a little mass protesting in every county...not only in support of Dan but to call attention to the damage caused by the lion moratorium. Question is...will those who hunt take a day off to do it and how do we ensure nationwide media attention. We need friends at Fox I think. And big color photos showing lions killing Bambi and others.
Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000. The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.
