Default German Shorthair X English Pointer crossed puppies

We had an OOPs breeding between one of our top GSPs stud dogs Bean and an Elhew bred English Pointer female we owned but recently sold.

The pups are half GSP and half EP. Both lines of dogs are excellent Birddog lines, and these pup should be great Birddogs. Im selling them for $150 each to cover my expenses into them. They still have long tails.

If someones been wanting a Birddog pup but money's been tight these pups might be right for you. Again both GSP lines and the EP lines produce solid Birddogs , so I expect these pups to have Lots of natural ability and high desire for birds.

We have 6 pups, 4 females, and 2 males. 2 females and 1 male are solid liver in color, 2 females are orange and 1 male is ticked.

High octane bird mutts. Should be interesting bird hunters, Larry.

BTW - If you ever have a Lab/GSP whoops, let me know. I'd grab one in a second. I'd love to see what I could do with that mix.

My buddy picked one up yesterday. Great looking pups, The one he picked was set down outside the pen and right off he lifted his head and was scenting the air and trailing out some. I think these pups will be some good bird dogs.

update on "TICK" pointing at 15 weeks and retievering shot birds, this little guy will be a very good bird dog. He has a unbeatable drive on pointing. My buddy is really happy with this $150 find.

Update on "Chipper". Great dog! potty trained, coming to his name, fetching, and even did some blind fetching. very happy with this dog so far. Letting him be a puppy like you suggested so i haven't done any field training yet but i dont think it will be a problem. Thanks again. Question. Should I, and if so when, should i get him neutered?

Warren I still have two females from this litter.

BigAssWhiteBoy, getting your pup cut is your call. Personally I think vets push neutering to early. If that's what you choose to do, I'd wait until around a year old, I don't see the rush. With females I can see it because of heat cycles or avoiding an accidental breeding, but with males ? Again that's a personal choice.

Yes I still have two females from this cross.

We also have a litter of purebred GSPs due to hit the ground in the next week, out of Breezy and Hemi. Breezy is linebred Rockin Rollin Billy, and Billy Dees Blues in "A" and Hemi is a double grandson of 7 time NFC Tonelli's Rising Son.

My dog Rowdy is of Tonelli's Rising Son, who sired the Number 1 GSP in the country. Very happy so far and I honestly think that any dog that comes from TRS is good to go.

    Hi Map

The crossed pups are around 6m old and I'm only asking $200 for them

I get $800 for my GSP pups. Breezy should have her pups next week. 2 males and 2 females are already spoken for thru deposits.

Question: The farm behind us while I was a kid in Michigan, raised Pointers and had field trials on Saturdays. Those dogs barked continuously 24 hours a day. Do western Pointers quiet down when in a backyard rather than a kennel? The reason I'm asking is because the DA made me get rid of my last hunting dog because of barking all night long.

My boy Chipper from this litter is very quite. barks when nessasary but is a great dog! He does talk back to me some times though. but it is more like a growl than a bark, really it is pretty funny. Im so glad i got this dog. thanks again Larry

These pups are not real crazy barkers. Their pretty quite during the day and evening. I have them together so they do bark alittle when they are playing with each other, and they bark at feeding time. But I wouldn't call them repetitive barkers by any means.

Map if your interested In seeing pictures of them , email me your phone number or email address to LowellsGunDogs@yahoo.com and I'll send you pictures tomorrow

Well I still have one of these pups available. The pup is a solid liver male, he was spoken for and i was holding on to him, but family backed out deciding they wanted one of my pure bred pups instead.

I was asking $200 for them. Being this is the last pup, if someone is interested I'd let him go for $100.

I also have two females and two male GSP pups still available from our last planned breeding. These pups are now 4 weeks old. They will have had two puppy shots, been wormed. I guarantee my puppies for health and abilitys it takes to become a birddog. I'm selling these pups for $800. I might also consider trading for something of equal value. I'd also consider a trade on a pup and it's training a Value of $2750. I'd be interested in Guns, Quads, vintage 4x4 truck that runs, electric guitar & amp, electric bass guitar & amp, or make an offer.

    Larry,

I was going to take the solid liver 6 month old male for $100, but I had to comeback and edit the text.

My wife hit the panic button. We had legal problems last year from our neighbors, because they went to the D.A. about our dog barking. My wife needs to rest for a while.

    Maybe next year?
