    Default Intro

Hello, i thought I would stop by and maybe try to contribute to the site. I love to hunt vberg and have been doing so for about four years now. I really enjoy hog hunting the most but we have shot several good bucks. I went over two years and never killed a pig but have got them pretty well dialed in now. I am stationed down here but orignially resided in the great state of Oregon. But once my time is up here and I move on i WILL miss hunting boar at Vandenberg! My wife has the labtop at school right now but soon I will post some more pictures that are on it. Good luck and happy new year.

    just the right size

It does have a fork, just barely though!!! I have closer pics if in question.

Damn man, I would love to be stationed up there. A buddy and I hunted C-2 pretty hard for 3 days in December and never even saw a pig. Definitely found where they were feeding at night, new fresh sign every morning, they just weren't coming out till way past dark i guess. Did see a big 4x4 buck one morning eating on the side of the road.
Big thanks to Alan at the Rod & Gun Club, it's rare that you meet a hunter with that much knowledge that is willing to share it. Definitely wish i could make it up there more often, but the 5 hour drive from San Diego and my hectic work schedule makes it hard.

Happy to help. We live here and so it's no hardship for us, so I'm glad to pass along any dope I can. My hunting partner gets a little annoyed at times......(he says I have a big mouth). Sorry you didn't see anything.
It's good to have a plan. That way you have something to change.......
