Default Heck, Azusa Canyon is good.

I was paging through the WON site looking for salmon fishing reports, and I found this nice 3 X 3 from the Azusa Canyon area. When I was a kid back in 1952 my parents lived in Glendora for a while. Heck, there were deer all over the place.

D-11 Archery 3x3, public land in Azusa Canyon area. I was still hunting a well traveled trail, when I saw this buck hot on a doe's tail coming right to me. Quartering to me at 20 yards, I drilled him with a 100 grain muzzy broadhead. He ran 60 yards and piled up on the trail for easy recovery. It’s nice when a plan comes together.

Nice deer! Funny thing about D11 deer pics. They are almost never on a flat or even gently sloping hillside.
