    Default kayak fishing

I saw some fishermen in San Diego this summer while our family was on vacation and wondered if anybody had any tips on getting started as far as inexpensive kayak and gear goes? what would I need ?

    thanks G.C.!

A good way to start learning about kayak fishing is to go to http://www.kayakfishing.com/
I learned a lot from them. I have founder Dennis Spike's DVD; to me it has been invaluable. Kayak fishing is a blast! Be safe and have fun!

Cobra Kayaks has a fish & dive model that's set up nice and fairly priced.

Just picked it up on craigslist for 300 bucks in Fallbrook, so keep watching a you'll find a deal. I'll be adding fish finder/GPS, compose, another hatch/Bait Tank and i'll be good. Had it on Big Bear last weekend in the TroutFest derby and had a blast catching trout. Can't wait for some ocean fishing and lobster hoopin, very stable kayak. Maybe even some duck hunting?!
