Taurus, Miami, FL - Is seeking a dynamic high energy Marketing Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare a strategic marketing plan and annual department budget; authorize expenditures, and track project costs to control expenses.
Develop creative solutions to drive leads for the sales force.
Responsible for the marketing of all product lines.
Manage all public relations. Collaborate with media, writers and editors. Establish and maintain a relationship with key contacts within the industry.
Manage product inventory levels and fulfill requests for various trade publications.
Plan advertising, purchasing incentive, and promotional communication projects.
Oversee development and production of promotional material.
Establish an advertising schedule, ad preparation and ad insertion in conjunction with product release date.
Responsible for the development and production of product catalogs.
Evaluate research regarding new market trends and market reaction in order to recommend strategic adjustments.
Authorize interviews and media opportunities regarding the organization; ensure adherence to corporate image.
Appointed company representative for interviews, presentations and awards.
Direct and attend corporate meetings, events, tradeshows and functions; travel required.
Supervise the Tradeshow Coordinator.
Must follow company policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BS or MBA with a major in Marketing Preferred; or 4 to 6 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the firearms and/or sporting goods industry.
Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
Must possess a high level of interpersonal and social skills.
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively communicate; in oral and written form, and while presenting in small and/or large groups of people.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in the English language. Spanish and/or Portuguese are a plus.
