Default Okay, bought the Muzzy kit

Now I have a use for my ole Bear Extreme (recently retired in favor of my Hoyt Carbon Element but I need some help getting it dialed in. Anyone know what draw weight is good? Got the bottle, line, arrow and rest...not sure if I need to remove my WB or not. I'm in San Clemente. Anyone able to assist? I wanna try and get a pelagic fish with it.

The basic draw weight is 25-35 for lake and if u want to do deep sea at least 50-55. I have mine set at 45 snd I have the muzzy pro extreme kit on it so I can shoot lake fish or deep sea like stingray, shark or gators too no problem. Here's photos of my compound set up, I will post photos of my recurve set up too which is bad! He! He!......tra
P.s. a couple of tips. I dialed my yardage in using the fiberglass bowfishing shafts. And make sure u pre shoot your arrow into the water and retrieve it in before u shoot at fish to break the line in and u be fine....tra

Here's photos of my bowfishing recurve set up Bruce.
Cajun arch. Stabilizer, zebco 808 spincast reel, Muzzy arrow rest which holds real good. Is your WB the regular one or the bowfishing version which is nice. On my compound I have the aims wave roller rest which is nice and works great but bounces a little while walking the banks so I was thinking to switch to the WB bowfishing rest.......tra

Nice, that will do the trick for sure! i would use the WB Rest if u want total containment with no bounceing around and rattling with the fiberglass arrow, i dont know how long it woud last, i think the brissell part must be much stiffer on the bowfising version then their standard hunting version i would think...tra
