The Central Zone is a big area with a lot of hunters. Fortunately, most don't go very far from the roads. Venture out past half mile and you will have little company. Manti area still holds pretty good deer numbers but is popular. Find areas that you can let hunters push the bucks to you and you should have success. I wouldn't overlook the Wasatch Front areas either. Some real good bucks there. Tough to hunt a lot of areas (read: steep and nasty) but worth the effort. One or two canyons away from the roads puts you in fair solitude. If you knock one down there, be prepared to quarter or better yet, bone and pack out. Hunt it high to medium high. Lower areas gets you into the "residential" zone with lots of tree huggers walking around. Good luck to you!

lobowatch has it sum good info. The central is big area you need to get there a two three day before the hunt. I was there last year and every canyon was loaded with preset trailers for the hunt. the amount of hunters you will see is crazy but if you can find a spot that you can get off the road is a must. The west desert is a challenge a lot of private land and sum land owners will be there to make shur no won hunts there land and the best spot is west desert vernon but that's limited- entry. In Nephi there's a camp ground on the south side town it's a good base camp and there's a coffee shop just north of the camp ground it's ok but if you get there early you might find a guy (cowboy gary) he has land west of Nephi for a bottle or so he might help you.Just east of Nephi look for pole canyon or Nebo loop get way back off the road. This hunt can be done but your going to have to work at it. Good luck
