Jessie, how do you find this stuff? Anyway, if any of the "victims" do come down with rabies, they will be "famous" as there are no recorded cases of rabies in the US from squirrel bites. Indeed, squirrels are very rarely infected with rabies as opposed to bats, skunks, ground hogs etc. So I don't think it was rabies that made the squirrel so aggressive, it is simply a squirrel with an attitude, dude! Or as you said, a zombie squirrel...
