Maya Archers 3 D shoot
Maya Archers in Roseville is having their annual Polar Bear league that started this past Saturday and will go on for another 11 weeks. Starts around 0900, 14 3 d targets, 2 arrows per target. Please check their website for more info. I shot this past weekend and had alot of fun meeting new people and learning.

Missed this weekend but plan on shooting several others maybe we will run into each other, Red toyota with camper shell or white dodge.
Sounds good Biseger. I drive a White 4dr tacoma, antenna on top of cab and JHO stickers on back glass. I will try to make it most weekends. This was my first time shooting the Polar league. I got lucky and scored a 280, probably will do poorly when they have the unmarked shoots.

It is field tips only. Last Saturday it was marked yardage, not sure if it will be unmarked this Saturday. Furthest target was a Polar Bear at 60 yds, they will likely extend the range this week from what I have heard. I need to head out to the range in the morning after work to make sure my new rest is on right. I switched from a Biscuit to a QAD drop away.Originally Posted by biseger

I meant to get out there last weekend. I haven't shot since september. Time to knock off the rust.
Week 2 of the 3D shoot and I scored a 270. Gotta blame this on shoulder fatigue. I was shooting on Friday morning after work to fine tune things after having the new rest installed. I was adjusting my cheapie sight, Trophy Ridge model , and part of the bracket broke off when I was tightening up a screw. Got a replacement bracket but that didnt fit properly to the pin guard frame. Now I am getting frustrated, gotta figure something out. A friend at the club offered to let me use one of his extra Spot Hogg sights till I got something. Nice offer on his part but I just went out and got a Spot Hogg hunter model and got it sighted in. I eventually ended up shooting way more than I should have on Friday and it showed on Saturday morning. Kinda hard to hold steady when your shoulder is tired.
The shoot had a very nice turnout, I encourage anyone interested in shooting 3D to come out and sharpen your skills!
