Pigeon hunting with air rifle

Does anyone hunt pigeons with air rifles?

I don't but I have hunted with Accousticmood and Calico Joe and they have. I prefer a shotgun but if your hunting near urban areas or better yet a dairy near urban areas then yes a pellet gun is the way to go. They don't kill a lot of pigeons but they do get a few. I would buy the most powerful pellet gun with a real good scope. Once you shoot the pigeons at least the ones I saw they get wary. The advandage of a pellet gun is there is plenty of meat left over.
