Default San Diego area <100 miles

    Hey all,
New to JHO. Been following on facebook for awhile. Alittle about my self I'm 27 I love to hunt and fish. I've hunted Deer in Ohio, Maine, Michigan, Indiana, Texas and now Ca. I usually only hunt weekends due to Military work schedule. I'm looking to get more hunting XP. In coyote's bobcat and wild pig. I have rifles shotguns and a bow. I'm accurate with all of them. I'm also an active commitee member in the NWTF. Looking forward to hearing from any hunter in the San Diego area, Thanks again

Put in for some waterfowl resies for Wister . If you get a low # you will have plenty of new friends just let us know in the waterfowl forum. You can get resie cards at Big 5 or any store that sells hunting equipment and is a DFG license agent. For deer hunting SD County isdn't bad at a 10% sucess rate for D-16 that is better then some premium zones. The A-26 archery either sex archery hunt with a 6% sucess rate is still better then some premuim hunts.

    Lefty,
I hunted last year and got a fork horn at Palomar Mtn. It was fun but i'm looking for some more shooting and love to get out. I have never Predator hunted so I was thinking it being Nov/Dec I should look into that. If anyone need's to fill a seat on a hunt or help with Gas money I'm ready to hunt anything I can get a tag for. I will be in Maine for muzzle loader season there and in Ohio for Gun Season (whitetail) the first 2 weeks of DEC. Thanks and Have a great weekend.

    Hi JustJeff,
There is the 2nd dove season coming up soon and there are a lot of doves in Imperial County plus some ringneck and yes there are a few coyotes. The problem is a lot of the land has no tresspass signs although there is some DFG owned land in the IV. There are a lot of euro doves but they tend to live near people. If you can get in with the locals it would be fun.
