    Default Badlands Sacrafice Review

I just got my Sacrafice delivered and it looks pretty good. I am really curious though on how they are coming up with 3450 ci of space. It is defintely possible but in comparison to my 2200 which has been getting by for 2-3 day trips it just doesn't look that much bigger. It does look like it expands quite a bit further out.

The weight claims to be 3 lbs and 9 oz. On my scale it is showing up at 3 lbs 14 oz which is about par for the course. Haven't come across a whole lot of products that meet what they are claiming on weight. Weight wise it is going to save me about 2 lbs and 9 oz which is a pretty darn good savings over the 2200.

The material does seem to be pretty loud but that doesn't matter in the least to me. I would never put a stalk on or even glass with my bag on.

I am going to be loading it up this weekend. The plan is for up to 5 days in the Idaho wilderness in October. It is definetely going to be a minimalist trip but shaving the weight makes so much difference.

I actually think with every strappretty tight would make a very good day pack. Sure it is overkill but you can't find a day pack that is going to match it on weight.

Post a f/u review after you put it through some use. Looks
    like a good pack.

I also just bought the Sacrafice today and will most likely try it out this weekend. I was torn apart between the 2800 and the sacrafice, it was the same price. The only thing I disliked about the sacrafice was that the shoulder strap did not have much cushion like the 2800, but it holds much more ci space. I wounder if this is going to hurt my shoulders once its packed and filled up with meat. The thing I liked about the Sacrafice was that it was much smaller when straped up that it could probably be used as a day pack as rcrosby mentioned. I'll take lots of pictures and let you know what I thought about it.

That alone would eliminate it for me; I simply don't want to be separated from my gear; as I've been on many stalks where I've had to follow the animal as they usually don't sit still unless their bedded, and even that is no guarantee. If only it were quiet.
