    Default TC Contender 45-70 Govt

I bought this pistol to turn heads at the gun club but am using it less and less now and thinking I might let it go to offset costs for a Grendal or WinMag. Includes 10 boxes of 300gr ammo, 28" carry case and vertical shoulder holster. Gun has roughly 150 rounds thru it. No scratches, blemishes, it is close to perfect. It's the original TC Contender, not a G2. Many TC enthusiasts prefer the frame of the original over the newer G2. You can always slap a TC rifle stock on it and/or add other barrels. The TCC is pretty versatile.

Warning: This handgun goes KABOOM! The 2.5" rounds may cause damage to unprotected ears and anything that gets in their way. If you need to stop a vehicle, shoot this at the engine block, it'll stop. Pollution disclaimer: Because the cartridge is so big and packs so much powder, it will create a visible cloud of air pollution...even in air conditioned indoor ranges. cough cough
Surprisingly, the recoil is not bad thanks to the heavy ported barrel.

If anyone is interested, here's what I have invested in it:
    Barrel $275.
    Frame $370.
    Holster $60.
    Case $50
    Ammo $200 ($20/bx)
    Total $955.

I think (given its pristine condition) that $650 (for everything shown) is reasonable.

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000. The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.
