Hi yotetrapper, welcome to JHO. So are you all ready for this coming season to start? Do you only go for coyotes or other fur as well? How are the trapper conventions down in Missouri? Such as vendors/ deminstrations, contest, auctions for equiptment, raffles. Here in The Peoples Republic of Quinn-Land we have 2 conventions, the state, and chapter 17B of the Ill. Fur Takers Assn.. Both are always in Sept.. The attendance of these 2 conventions is slowly dwindling each year. When I started going in 1990 there would be 350-400 people show up each weekend. Now their lucky to have 100-150. It's a dyeing sport I tell ya. Well good luck and may your fur shed be overflowing. Be careful

Welcome. I'm up in alaska here. I'll try and keep a journal of my trapping this year. I was going to last year, but lack of notes, time and pictures kinda put me off. I'll try and do better this year. About 2.5 months to go and so much to do.
