Default HAAAHOO,the season is here again!!!!

Tis the shed season of 2009-10,can't wait to get out there and start spotting some antlers..................Anybody finding some yet?
I think I'm more giddy for shed hunting than I was for deer hunting(ha ha)...................

Our local grain elevator lets me pick up spent grain and sunflower seed off their roads(loading docks)..So now I got a place in my back yard to feed the deer, should be fun to see what comes around.............(I live on the end of town, with the main deer trail headed right thru my back yard)........

Hey Fossilman- when do deer start shedding? I found a decent 4 pointer 2 days ago (12/21) that the rabbits had just started working on. Found it about 15 miles west of Yosemite.

In the central coast part of California March 1st is about when it's time to head for the woods to look for sheds.
