Missing Man's Body Recovered

Annapolis, Md - The Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG) are continuing a joint investigation after recovering the body of a missing man, identified as Gregory Stelwyn Luckett, 49, of Pasadena, Maryland.

On November 16, 2009, at approximately 11:30 a.m., a windsurfer observed a body floating in the mouth of the South River, near MayoBeach, in Edgwater, Md. Anne Arundel County police and fire units recovered the body and transported it to the USCG station in Annapolis.

Luckett was report missing on November 5, 2009, at 4:00 p.m., from a barge in the area of Thomas Point Light in the Chesapeake Bay.

After NRP processed the body for evidence, it was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for autopsy.
