Our local hoc shop had 2 cameras that I think will do the job for my home brew projects. I offered $35.00 CAD, thats about $25.00 US for the both and he took it. They are: A Vivitar EZ Motor Date-a-print, and a Ricoh AF-30 Date. I tried them in the shop and all appears to be fine. They have all the features, so I will be testing the shutters on them tonight to see how to wire them. Anyone have any experience with either of these ? If either of them don't do the job, for the price I paid I guess they will do as a knock around camera.
    Thanks

Unfortunately they both appear to be mechanical shutters, and not electrical. The shutter on the Vivitar EZ motor - Date is attached to a linkage that sets off the shot deeper in the guts of the camera, the Ricoh is about the same, I was hoping for a simple 2 contact elec shutter but I guess I will be searching out a couple of solenoids now.
