    Default Central Valley Crappie Moving to Prespawn Areas

    I fish a small pond here in the Central Valley (just N of Fresno) and the Black Crappie have move into the shallows for prespawn activities. I nam finding them in 2-3 feet of water in a pond that is 11 feet deep at full pool. Anyone else out fishing?

    I haven't been out lately for any panfish. I've been taking my son out to Woodward Park every other week for trout only.
