I have seen that site when i did a search. The site had user ratings that did not rate them very high. I think everyone got their order, but I think the service is where they had teh problems. That and the delivery time.

Just checked the site that I got that link from. They have 4 user ratings with 1 out of the four saying that they tried to charge more than what their web site states for the shipping. All the rest (3) gave them 5 stars. The best they could give them. I will still follow up to see what they say....might even try to get us a lower price
Check B&H Photo, they're around $129 in the latest photo mags and B&H is very reputable.

Ok, I got delayed to this morning on checking on the camera from executive cameras. Acessment of the experiance was: it takes a little while to connection to a representative. The camera is a "NEW" camera for $99. The shipping was $10 delivered to me. Total $109. The representative was somewhat arogant, but a good "bat" knows how to handle that. He acted a little smart but I just put it in a second gear and give it back to him. He tried to sell me the additional card, I believe it was a 32mb for $40 but I told him I could get it cheaper at about $25 and went to look for my data. I told him I didn't need but a 16mb and after I checked I found that I could get a 32mb for $14.99. He told me I was being contridictory in what I was saying.....that's when I pinned his ears back. Next thing he says was....."the total will be $109", thanks for your order. The Smartmedia card is from Tigerdirect.com item #1226-1000 I-O DATA $14.99, 32mb. This is long but I wanted you to get an idea of what to expect. bat

If you are concerned about a reseller check out resellerratings.com. They have ratings and reveiws for most of the sellers out there. I never buy anything off the net without checking here first.
update: ok HeloMedic you were right! The service stinks! I just got off the phone with executive cameras. They showed the D-370 "in stock" on their web site that I first visited. I was promised delivery from 5-7 working days, that was on the 8th. It is now the 21st. No camera! They said they did not anticipate the volume of sales so they had to backorder....duh! It was "in stock when I ordered" or suppose to have been. They are suppose to have them in this week...Tues or Wed if anybody ordered from them with the updated shipping on them of "Overnight Delivery". You got it I "CANCELED" my order and told them I was no longer interested in supporting their sales. Also told them that about 5000 people would be reading this! On a rating of A-F. Give them F for service, E for sales technique, A for Price/shipping cost, F for the guy receiving the inquiry on buying the camera (no communication skills whatsoever) with the 800 number and a A for the customer service guy for his tone of voice and communication skills. "No" I don't recommend buying one from them. Sorry if I put anybody on to this company....it sounded good at the time!bat
Just as a related comment, I was at Wal-Mart this weekend and saw D-380's for $150 each, so I take that as a good sign that the prices are coming down.

THANKS ALOT BAT!!!! Immediately following you're post I called my buddy down the road that I am building a 370 for. He ordered it that very day and still hasn't gotten it either. I tried sending them emails through both of their addresses but it wont go through. Service stinks. Buy elseware.

bigbucks thanks I wouldn't want anybody mad at me, well most anybody, the wife she can get mad at me sometimes if she wants to, hehe she will anyway...hey do like I did, call them up and tell them how displeased you are with the service and cancel the bad boy. Remind them to take the cost back off of your credit card if you used it. Make sure you tell them how "many" friends you are going to tell about them also.
I'm beginning to think that "maybe" they ship to the people that buy the additional extras they have at the huge prices that put on them first (smart media cards etc.) and don't really intend on shipping to the others buyers until they can get to them. They make way to much profit on the smart media cards and extra goodies they try to sell you.

I am sure that new models will be coming out soon for the Christmas season. I hope that the prices are going to come down on these.
Bat, I think you're right. They probably arent making much off the 370, but the other stuff on the page is sky high. A smart media card reader for $88? Are they nuts! Walmart has them for $27. They likely will give you better service if you order some overpriced stuff.

I had the same experience. After 3 weeks of waiting after they said that they had sent it, they finally told me that they didn't have any. I cancelled my order.
