Maryland deer kill exceeds 100,000 for first time

Yes, according to the Maryland DNR's State Deer Project Leader Brian Eyle, who reports that hunters killed 100,437 deer during the 2008-2009 season, the highest total harvest since the state began modern deer management practices in the early 1900s.
