1/29/09

IDAHO FALLS - When it comes to hunting and fishing, just about everyone has an opinion. In order to check the pulse of hunters, the Idaho Department of Fish & Game (IDFG) will be holding a series of meetings across the region to talk with the public. The meetings will be held in the third week of February in Arco, Idaho Falls, and Rexburg.

According to Regional Wildlife Manager Daryl Meints, "Our management is dynamic. We manage based on where our populations are in relation to objective and structure regulations to get us where we want them to be." This is the public's first chance to meet with IDFG to discuss ideas for changes that might be considered in future.

Tuesday, February 17: Butte County High School / Media Center , Arco.
Wednesday, February 18: IDFG Regional Office, Idaho Falls.
Thursday, February 19: Madison Middle School / Media Center, Rexburg.

All meetings start at 7:00 PM
