Hey yall. I'm James from Hanford CA. Glad to have found this place, and I wish it had been under different circumstances tho. My brother, dad, and I just got our christmas present early from our wives and they turned out to be memberships to "The Hunting Club" owned by Larry Hamilton. I did a search on the club to find out where we'd be headed, and....well...here we are. I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. I spoke with Larry and set up a "mandatory no vehicle guide" through one of the ranches off of Liggett (sp?) and 101 by some little store in the middle of nowhere. I was told to bring a quad, and that the ranch manager would have to ride with me on it. F-n fishy if you ask me. I haven't sent in my signed contract yet and LH says he needs to forward it on to his insurance company for "underwriting" (sounds like BS). I know the check has cleared, but without a legit contract, I can prolly get my money back. So....where do I go from here?
Sounds like he's up to the same BS. I'd call fish and game and talk to the local warden plus I think the pinned topic on Larry has some more people too talk to. Good luck!
